Agenda
  • Add lore about classes to vanilla armor.
  • Update Krusk spawn item to recommended gear.
  • Remake rpg commands.
  • Extend the "fake death" to other deaths and take appropriate actions.
  • Limit boss spawns to 1 per player/party.
  • Prevent boss spawns from being picked up by hoppers.
  • Update gear score calculations.
  • Fix being able to delete the finished product in the forge by clicking again.
  • Fix being able to forge enchants with items which already had those enchants.
  • Update Krusk drops to say the tier they are from.
Completed

  • General Changes
    • Deaths to custom mobs will no longer result in you dropping or losing items and xp.
    • A sound is played when a player dies now.
    • Potion effects are now removed on death.
    • Death messages now have extra flavor when death is to a mob or player.
    • Custom mobs will now be removed upon killing a player.
    • There is now a basic system setup to calculate gear score. A more transparent version will likely be worked on then released.
    • Custom death messages will now use the gear score of the player to determine color of their name.
    • Items when converted now show their tier.
  • Krusk Changes
    • Krusk's damage is down from (20)- > (10)
    • The damage of his minions are also down from (5) -> (2.5) and (2.5) -> (1)
    • Krusk now actually has no armor.
    • Krusk's minions now have no armor.
    • Beefy Krusk minions have their health increased from (45) -> (60). Combined with armor change this is a net nerf to effective health.
  • Forge Changes
    • Different types of protection are no longer conflicting in the forge.
    • Bug fix - Closing the forge at any time will no longer clear your items from existence.
  • Parties
    • Started skeleton implementation of /party and additional sub commands.
  • Eiryeras Changes
    • Started skeleton implementation of Eiryeras and the boss mechanics.

  • Rebalance Krusk's minions to have 0 armor.
  • Start implementing Parties and Party chat.
  • Remake rpg commands.
  • Setup gear score calculations.
Completed
  • Krusk Changes
    • Krusk and his minions will no longer pickup items.
    • Krusk's minions will no longer drop items.
    • Krusk and his goons will no longer turn into drowned underwater.
    • Krusk's minions will now drop 10 xp on kill.
  • Items/Systems Changes
    • The Forge has been added for beta players.
    • Zombies now have a chance to drop Krusk's spawn based on gear score (Work In Progress) peaking at 10% with 100 gear score. The chance follows this formula, 0.20/(|gearScore - 100| + 2). For now players are set at 100 gear score.
  • General Changes
    • Natural health regeneration now scales with max health.
    • Saturated regen now the same as unsaturated.
    • Hunger and saturation are no longer drained when regenerating health.

Agenda

  • Give zombies a small chance to drop the Krusk spawn item.
  • Update Krusk spawn item to recommended gear.

Completed
  • Krusk Changes
    • Krusk will now drop an Undead Chestplate at 8%
    • Krusk will now drop his Rare helmet at 4%
    • Krusk when hit has a 20% chance to apply Weakness 1 to the attacker for 10 seconds.
    • Krusk has new summoning effects which will be clearer and nicer to spawn the boss where you want.
    • At 40% life Krusk will gain Poison 2 for 10 seconds and summon 3 aids nearby.
    • Attacking Krusk, and any boss mob, whilst they are in water will strike the attacker with lighting.
    • Krusk will always be an adult zombie... no more little murder bots.
    • Krusk is now spawned by dropping his boss summon available in /shop not by dropping 16 rotten flesh.
  • Item Changes
    • Krusk's Lore is now a Heroic item.
    • Add a Krusk Boss spawn item to the shop.
    • DarkHelm
      • Armor (8.0) -> (0.75)
      • Max Health (0) -> (8.0)
  • Command Changes
    • /summonrpg now takes an optional second argument for the number to spawn. If no second arg is given then only one is spawned. New usage is as follows, /summonrpg <mob> <amnt>
    • /shop now sells cookies <5-1> under the food table, and rotten flesh <100-1> in the mobs drop tab. Additionally you can buy Krusk spawn<1,000> items from the shop.

Agenda
  • Add two boss mechanics
    • Has chance to apply weakness to those who hit him
    • Summons a few weaker zombies to fight for it, retreats a bit and heals a bit, 20% life
  • Add lore about classes to vanilla armor
  • Add Krusk Armor drops
  • Allow anvils to use unsafe enchants, update name colors on enchant.

Completed
  • The uncommon zombie is now named Krusk, one of the generals of the undead army.
  • Krusk now drops 50 xp and 1-6 Rotten Flesh on death.
  • Krusk now has an 8% chance to drop his axe.
  • Krusk now has an 8% chance to drop his boots.
  • Krusk now has an 8% chance to drop his leggings.
  • Krusk now has an 1% chance to drop a lore item.
  • Krusk can now be spawned by dropping 16 rotten flesh anywhere. You will be struck by lighting and then Krusk will spawn 10 seconds later.
  • Vanillia armor is tweaked again to better reflect the values and effective health given by the items normally.

Today I'm working on the RPG plugin for the Darkstar server. I'll post updates here on progress and features that get implemented. Should anyone hop on the forum you're more than welcome to reply and request features to be implemented.

Agenda:
  • Implement unsafe enchants via the anvil

Completed:
  • Finished customizing items for use in RPG
  • Items when dropped and crafted update into RPG items
  • Armor now always has 3 armor toughness, and 1 knockback resistance
  • Global armor reduced by 75%, Effective health increased 25% (Without Enchants)
  • Enchanted armor is now considered Uncommon and colored Green
  • Health bar now shows 20 hearts (scaled) as max no matter how much max health the player really has
  • Player is now fully healed on login
  • There is an admin command to spawn boss mobs
  • We have an uncommon boss but can't figure out how to give him a lootable of things to drop :?

Announcements / Week 1 Updates

We did a lot of things that were staff facing this week. You can probably expect a longer list next week and thing for things to die down a bit as we get started on some larger projects.

Towny
- Per player plots is now 25
- Town caps have been adjusted accordingly with the intention of still rewarding those who build together.


Shop
- Water Breathing 10minutes has been added to the shop for 1k coins
- Night Vision 10minutes has been added to the shop for 1k coins


Classes!
- We have added classes to the PvE and PvP experience! Expect us to build more on this in the future.
- Added Assassin Class
- Added Bard Class
- Added Beserker Class
- Added Paladin Class <--- Thank you ser1618!
- You can now use /classleave to leave your current class and /classjoin to join another class! Now I don't have to spend 5minutes changing around everyone's class xD
- If you forgot the class you were in you can always do /classleaveall and then just join a new one!



What to look forward to.
- Pvp Arena with kits
- Pyromancer class
- Marksmen class
- PvE Classes?

Here are a lot of the smaller non-staff related changes we've made this week but aren't worth announcing until a weekly one.

Towny
- Per player plots is now 25

Silk Spawners
- Spawners now require at least a diamond pickaxe to mine.

The initial setup for the Forum is complete! Don't expect much more for announcements on the forum except in a weekly update post. You can find all the information you need under Administration when it comes to the server or forum and under General you can make your voice heard. Really should make this post longer but I don't know what else to say.

Server Rules / Duplication Bugs/Exploits

The use of duplication bugs and exploits are prohibited. This includes tnt duping though that's more a lag thing than a duplication issue. I feel it goes without saying that duplicating items can very easily destroy and economy and the hard work of other players. We have an unnamed plugin on the server which patches out most of the duplication bugs known in 1.16 and past version of Minecraft but if you find something which isn't patched PLEASE let us know.

1st Offense - 1 week
2nd Offense - Perma-Ban

These are modifications that are allowed to the base game to improve performance or quality of life. If you have a modification not on the list you may reply bellow to possibly see it added. Hacked clients and their features are naturally not allowed.

- Lunar Client

Server Rules / X-Ray

To quote sourceforge on the topic of X-Ray, "Minecraft X-Ray is a program whose primary purpose is to aid in finding valuable ores and resources inside a Minecraft world." As time has passed so has X-Ray exploits evolved. The most common form of X-Ray we see on the server are players using a resource back to render stone invisible. Additional forms of X-Ray involve the use of a hacked client which again renders stone, dirt and other items invisible so one can see just the ores, chests, or spawners. These are explicitly prohibited as it ruins the economy when players have easy access to what others may have to put in numerous hours to obtain. Other methods through blacklisted modification of the client which result in a similar effect are not allowed.

I would like to clarify that bugs in the existing Minecraft client and whitelisted modifications (See Allowed Modifications) are technically X-Ray. However as they exist in the base game or through modifications we have allowed, all players have access to these bugs, and we will not issue bans. If you were banned using one of these bugs please walk us through the setup on how to recreate the bug so we can recognize when players are using the bug and prevent further false bans.

2nd Offense - 1 Week Ban
3rd Offense - Perma-Ban
